Getting Started with Payments
paddlX makes it easy to collect session fees from players. Once you've set up your Stripe account, you can start accepting payments immediately.
How to Enable Payments for a Session
When creating or editing a session, you can set the session price and payment requirements.
Step-by-step:
- 1Navigate to your session details
- 2Toggle "Require payment" to ON
- 3Enter the session price (e.g., $10.00)
- 4Choose payment deadline (before session or pay-as-you-go)
- 5Save your changes
Payment Processing
When players join a paid session, they'll be prompted to complete payment through Stripe. Funds are automatically transferred to your connected Stripe account within 2-7 business days.
